SNAP! South Florida Startup Community is Surfr Hot

Once upon a time I lived in a quite Palm Beach area, drove to technology meet-ups, went down to Miami for an occasional key note speaker and was inspired by weekly episodes of Shark Tank.

There were whispers of incubators coming to town during after parties.

Talks of tech labs.

Then, SNAP!

Today, everywhere I turn our Sunny South Florida Hot Spots are buzzing with innovation and new technology.  Co-working space activities, pitch events and live Shark Tank meetups are filling every day of the month.

Check this short story about a surfer/entrepreneur.    Nicholas Mohnacky and I have been going to the same tech meetup for the last few years.  He’s an expert in video & marketing strategy and has been launching a surfr app.  This summer I came back from Boston and found out he’s now opening a new co-working space on Clematis.  WOW!   I met with him and his sister over coffee, went and looked at the space, it’s over the edge cool!  (see pic below) It’s called Startup Palm Beach LLC

Next thing I know, I’m at the gym opening up Florida Trends Magazine and:

It is Nick!

There’s also STARTUP WESTPALM BEACH is coming up and

I caught Nick on an interview to tell us about it.>CLICK:   STARTUP WESTPALM BEACH MORE! 8 LESSONS FROM START-UP BOSTON

BTW, I met at least one of his partners recently Chris Callahan who has a cool, edgy vibe.

Plus, a quick shout out to his sister, who has recently joined the team in a project manage role.  I’ve heard she’s become quite the emerging, young  CEO:  Katlyn Rapp.  Watch out for her!

P.S.  I realize an ecosystem doesn’t happen in a SNAP!  Countless hours have been put in by community organizers and others.  Thank you to all involved!

P.S.S. I have space for one VIP client. In Social Biz always ask “Show me the proof!” Analytics & Return on Investment are a must otherwise you are wasting money. Contact me directly Tara@TaraHusband.com or 305-323-9614
